Hung Like Bull
Picked up some random knick-knacks at the FNAC in the basement of the nearby Shinkong Mitsukoshi department store. They put it in a paper bag featuring ads pushing the album by the infamous William Hung, fresh off his nationally televised rejection on American Idol. His pseudo-stardom was more of a sympathetic (or worse) backlash, but I'm not sure if his Taiwanese publicists got the memo. In the pictured ads below, the ad touts him as:
- America's No. 1 Sex Symbol
- Debuted at #34 on the Billboard charts
- Debuted at the top of the Billboard Indie charts
- 100,000 albums sold in America in its first week
I guess you can't dispute the numbers, except he definitely ain't #1 on the American Sex Symbols list. Hey, you're suppose to be laughing at him, not with him.
