Taipei Computer Applications Show 2K4
Frankly, checking out the show girls at Taiwan tech shows down at the Convention Center is getting a little old. However, I feel it's my duty to provide my adoring public with pictures of too-thin girls wearing corporate-logo vinyl.
- Sony So-Net ADSL service. Tough to compete with the established monopoly. Hot dancing girls help.
- Sony sells other things, too. Hence more girls.
- Instant noodles makes for some strange swag, but people were fighting for them at the Viewsonic booth all the same.
- Shuttle's girls weren't all that, but they had the coolest giveaway. Folks were chosen out of the crowd for a contest to put together one of their SFF boxes ASAP. The winner takes home the computer they put together.
- Digital cameras were big at the show, and Canon was there in full force. Dunno if the guy on stage bought a camera, but he seems like he felt he got his money's worth.
- No idea what that girl's selling, nor do the other folks taking pictures, I reckon.
- Leadtek. They sell graphics cards. I think.
- ChiMei Optoelectronics. They need the help, because LCD prices are falling through the floor.
- Altec Lansing, because girls in short skirts can make even crappy speakers sound better.
