The sales department banquet was in a little Sichuan restaurant near the factory. Mmm... fatty meats with heat. Especially liked the plate of pig colon with pickled hot peppers. Too bad they only had beer, not hard alcohol, so all the toasts got way too bloating. The chicks can really drink, too.

The officers' banquet with the boss was a comparatively tame affair. Stuck to the single-malt. The big bottle of Johnny Walker was a gift from a customer which we like to roll out for show.

You couldn't really cut loose with the boss there. So the VP treated everybody to another banquet where everybody could have a little more fun, and a lot more alcohol.

Funny how I didn't actually do any drinking at the Taiwan banquet, even with a complimentary bottle of Glenmorangie on the table. There are some perks to sitting at the table with the pregnant ladies. It was still CNY-banquet season, though, so the restaurant had to be prepared for the overly-enthusiastic imbibers, as you can tell by the well-labeled projectile-vomiting-sink, complete with large arrows to help blurry-eyed patrons with aiming.
