Visited grandfather's grave with mom, uncles, and grandma. For once it wasn't raining, although it was still cloudy and cool in the hills above Keelung. The plants are filling in nicely and the tea-tree blossoms are just about to bloom. They do a good job of keeping the grounds clean, as damn well they should considering what we pay them. The plot above us got filled in. A severe but tasteful design, with a famous Buddhist mantra in gold lettering carved into the stone blocks on the back wall, and a dual-octagonal pavilion in the middle. The uncle with the architecture degree was impressed with how the roof of the pavilion roof just peeks over when seen from our plot below, complementing the view without being overbearing to its neighbor. Very classy, unlike some of the other gravesites at the cemetery. Turns out the guy was the owner of the BMW distributor in Taiwan. Thanks for the L7, dude.
